Cooking Al Dente is cooking the pasta less. The cooking time is between siz to eight minutes. This technique came out in Italy. It was used in 18. century in Napoli. In Napolili the street food sellers used it a lot. They cooked the pasta Al Dente way so that people could eat it with their hands. Not too soft and not too hard. This cooking technique is also used for vegetables.
