Artichoke with Olive Oil
The artichoke with olive oil is like as if there is an elegant lady. Awakened from a sunny morning sleep and dressed in white silk dressing gown and looks from a balcony overlooking the sea. It may sound like a strange analogy, but I think the dishes have more of a function than feeding us. I think they touch our soul. Artichokes, that makes me feel really good . Ingredients
7 artichokes
1 potato
1 carrot
1 glass of peas
1 mid size onion
a little dill
2 lemons
1 glass olive oil
2 table spoons of sugar
1 glass water
salt
Recipe
Chop the potatoes, carrots and onions, into cubes. Put five tablespoons of olive oil into a pan and sauté the onions until they are slightly pink. Chop the dill.
Place the carrots over the onions for two minutes, then add the potatoes for two minutes and then add the peas and stir for another two minutes. Add the dill and cover for another minute, then turn off your stove.
Put the mixture aside.
Put the remaining olive oil, water and sugar into a bowl and mix the water of the 2 lemons. Add salt according to your desire.
Put the artichokes into a large saucepan. Place a mixture of garnishes on the artichokes with a spoon. Add the lemon water mixture to the artichoke and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes until the artichokes soften.
Allow to cool, and serve in a large bowl.
