Artichoke With Mushrooms and Tomato Sauce
There is a very traditional recipe for artichoke in Turkish cuisine, but when it comes to my recipes, traditional may not be the right word. This recipe is a little different but still very delicious. All you have to do is just try and see.
Ingredients
- 6 mid size artichokes
- 2 roasted red pepper
- 5 - 6 mushrooms
- 1 mid size onion
- 1 table spoon tomato sauce
- 3 table spoon olive oil
- black pepper
- salt
- water
Instructions
Put the olive oil and finely chopped onions to a pan and fry it for a while until it softens. Chop the mushrooms and put them over the onions. Cook them for five minutes and stir it constantly so that they don't get burned. Add the chopped roasted red peppers, and stir for two more minutes. Then add the tomato sauce. Dress with red pepper and salt. Put the artichokes to the pan and add more water until it covers the artichokes. Cook for half hour. Control the artichokes if they are soft enough. Cook more until it is soft enough for you to eat.
Bon Appetite!
