Avokado Bites
Avokado is something that I didn't use much in the past. For many it is tasteless but that is an advantage because you can dress it with many ingredients and use in many different types. It goes well as a sauce, you can use it in salads, in main dishes. Today as I was craving something spicy and sour I decided to make little avokado bites for myself. I used cheese, lemon and avokado as main ingredients. It is easy to do and you can also make easily when you have guests.
Ingredients
- 4 slices bread
- 1 ripe avokado
- 4 garlic cloves
- fetta cheese
- 5-6 jalapeno pepper
- half lemon juice
- olive oil
- 1/2 coffee spoon cumin
- red pepper flakes
Instructions
Peel the avokado and dice it. Add the lemon juice, the sliced jalapenos and cumin. Crush the garlic cloves, add the olive oil and stir. In an oil free pan toast the breads. Put the olive oil on to the breads. Add the cheese. Finally put the avokado mix over the fetta cheese. If you like you can add some red pepper flakes over.
Bon Appetite!
