Gnocchi
Gnocchi is a new dish for me, he it has already taken his place among my favorite meals. The causes are again the same, practical and very tasty. This time I differentiated it with a little basil and the result is on the plate above.
Ingredients
- 3 mid size potatoes
- 1 egg
- salt
- flour as much as the doughneeds while kneeding
- liquid oil
- butter
- basil leaves
Instructions
Wash the potatoes' and boil them well. Then cool down and purge the shells. Squash the potatoes' puree them, add the egg and salt. Chop the basil leaves and to the mix. Add the flour and kneed until it gets a soft texture. Divide your dough into 4 to 5 pieces and roll them into long strips. Cut the banded dough into finger wide and design it with a fork. Boil a large amount of water and add some oil. Leave the pieces of dough to the boiling water. The doughs will first collapse to the bottom, and when they cook, they will come to the surface of the water. Melt the butter and add some oil to prevent it from burning. Take the dough from the boiling water and put them to the pan. After frying serve your gnocchi with basil leaves. Bon Appetit!
